I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Culdesac (San Francisco, CA) in July 2022
Interview
After applying I received a response to set up a recruiter screen the next day. After talking to the recruiter, I spoke to the Chief of Staff, then the CEO later in the day. Then I spoke with the COO a couple days later. All conversations were 30 minutes. The first two were scenario / case question style, "how would you approach this problem" type of thing. Then the third and final round was more about the company's vision and fit.
Overall the experience was fine, just a bit too quick. I didn't have time to get too many of my questions answered or get a good sense of culture, the work, etc. If I had gotten an offer, I would've needed to talk to more people for longer to get more questions answered. However, this plus the speed of interviews could've been because they already had another candidate in mind!

Question 1
"How would you approach deciding what our ESG strategy should be?"
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Culdesac in Apr 2022
Interview
Interview process was transparent and simple. The phone screener laid out the process in the first call:
1. Phone interview
2. 30-minute Zoom interview with the Chief of Staff
3. 30-minute Zoom interview with the CEO
4. 45-minute Zoom interview with the COO
The process followed that structure exactly. Then I waited a week and was sent a rejection email. Questions throughout were interesting—some quite standard and others more challenging. I enjoyed learning more about the company!
