I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DDC Total Health & Wellness (Columbia, MD) in June 2015
Interview
This was a 2 part interview: the first to ensure I was educated and qualified. The second was to ensure I was a good fit with the people I would be working with daily.

How many years of personal training experience do you have?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at DDC Total Health & Wellness (Columbia, MD) in May 2015
Interview
The owner had his assistant call for a brief phone interview. After this, she arranged a meeting with myself, her, and the owner, at their headquarters in Columbia two days later - a 40 minute drive for me. Upon arriving, they reviewed the job overview, offered me the job on the spot, and I signed a waiver saying I was fully aware of all job descriptions.
The next day she called to schedule another meeting. This time I drove all the way to downtown Baltimore to meet with the owner at the corporate site where I would be employed. He showed me the place, told me my responsibilities, the perks, and said he had ordered a uniform for me, and would send over the tax forms later that night.
After this, two weeks radio silence. Called, emailed many times... they finally responded weeks later saying they found a better candidate who had more appropriate qualifications, even though they were very, very blown away with how experienced I was. Sounds like they found someone cheaper. They also had the nerve to tell me that they had called and left voicemails... no. They didn't.
Horrible practice and unprofessional.

How did you become a fitness writer? (Irrelevant to any job skill; there was no interview though, just an offer based on my resume)
