I applied online. I interviewed at DEZEGA (İzmir) in June 2023
Interview
Located in a well-established industrial zone (ESBAS), which usually implies good logistics. I was kept waiting for 30 minutes for an interview that lasted only a few minutes. It felt like my time as a candidate was not valued at all. During the interview, HR explicitly mentioned a "daily wage" payment system. This is a significant red flag compared to the standard monthly salary and social security protections mandated by Turkish Labor Law. Despite my 7 years of factory experience, the wage offered was extremely low and did not reflect the current market or my level of expertise. There are no defined job descriptions. The management seems to expect everyone to perform every task regardless of their specific role or specialization. Instead of improving professional standards and employee relations, the focus seems to be on managing external perceptions. Professionalism starts with respecting a candidate's time and adhering to the legal payroll requirements of the country. I strongly suggest defining clear job descriptions and offering fair, monthly compensation that aligns with industry standards and legal obligations. Furthermore, the company never provided any follow-up or feedback. The entire process was a complete waste of my time and resources.
