I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (New York, NY) in May 2014
Interview
One interview. Call the store and ask about your application status or it will just sit there. It was a two on one interview with the head manager and the department manager. It wa quick and easy though not worth the time in the end. There is a lot of turnover but they really only hire people with some sort of connection.

I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Torrance, CA)
Interview
Short and Easy. Asked about availability, golf experience such as handicap, clubs, and how much I play. It was a part-time job so I didn't stress too much. It's true that I love and play golf so answers were coming from the heart and interview was more enjoyable than other places.

Interview
Overall, the few questions took less than 15 minutes for both parts of the interview. One with another employee, then the next with at least an assistant manager, and the department leader on site.
