1) Screening call with recruiter The recruiter was friendly and helpful, and explained the interview process well 2) Online logic and personality test For the logic portion, I focused on accuracy, making sure the questions were correct, as opposed to getting to every single question in the allotted time 3) Video interview with hiring manager Typical behavioral question format, STAR format is helpful for answering. 4) Final panel interview with four people First three interviewers had good questions and drilled down with follow-ups, and had a positive attitude. The last interviewer, a high-level employee, was hot-headed, saying phrases such as "hey man," explaining how the prior employee in the role I applied for decided to abruptly resign to manage a restaurant, and asked for assurance that I would not do the same if I had a few bad days. He was belittling, enlightening me (as an experienced professional) with the wisdom that "everyone has bad days at work. They call it work, not fun." I was stunned, and tried my best not to respond with sarcasm. He was clearly taking his frustration with a previous employee out on me. I told the recruiter that he presented a very poor first impression of Dish, and the recruiter responded "that sounds like [the high-level employee]."
