I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DISH (New York, NY) in Mar 2023
Interview
Well, pretty odd process:
1. IQ tests or some sort of knowledge test/questionnaires which take about an hour and a half to complete (never brought up again, don't know why it's required and was never told other than that's how they do things ...)
2. Meeting with the hiring manager who was pleasant and explained the role well (although it felt like he was trying to upsell it if anything to make Dish seem like Tesla or something)
3. Final interview with 3 devs that was the strangest of them all. No coding asked or anything, just a bunch of textbook mobile dev questions like definitions and niche info, which blew me away... how does such a huge/proven company conduct an interview like some generic recruiting agency?
Needless to say, the process wasn't overly difficult. But based on the team I interviewed with, I dodged a bullet for sure.
