      Project Manager/Estimator Interview

      28 July 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Hallandale, FL
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at DLC Residential (Hallandale, FL) in July 2017

      Interview

There were so many red flags from the recruiter I should never have wasted my time. Biggest red flag was that the recruiter told me in these words " they are willing to hire a woman". They spent 10 minutes with me on my first interview. After that brief meeting with two principles the recruiter asked if I could see myself working there. I said that I would need a longer meeting to make a better evalution so they scheduled a second interview the next business day and one of the principles spent an hour with me, introduced me to a man who I would be working with. Both seemed very nice. I accepted the job but was let go on the 3rd day because my clothes were, quote "not appropriate". I was wearing knee length business casual shorts and high necked, lined chiffon blouse, the same clothes I wore to the interview.
