I applied online. I interviewed at DLR (Neustrelitz)
Interview
I had 2 interviews there for a PhD student more than 4 years ago. First interview was great, I presented my master's work and was asked many personal questions. Then I was invited to the 2nd interview, where 2 more interviewers (overall 4) asked very basic questions in things I didn't claim to be proficient in.

Question 1
General questions regarding master's work and basic math and programming questions (Linux, python and MATLAB). For example, what is a dictionary in python, or how to set a part of an array in MATLAB as Nan or when is a determinant invertible.
