I applied online. I interviewed at DMEA in Mar 2020
Interview
It was done by phone back when I interviewed but is probably by zoom today. I was pasted around to different groups within the organization. You do a series of interview and they ask if you are interested in their group. If you say yeah they will then ask a bunch of technical questions I found rather varied and tough due to the many different group/people involved. This was entry-level and I, by good fortune, found a group who asked question that I correctly reasoned through.

Question 1
Describe how a resistor and transistor might look if you took a microscope and looked at it at the die level?
What would you do if you see something on a die you can't directly examine but wish to figure out what it might be?
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DMEA (Sacramento, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
Tour of the facility, discussion of duties, concluding with a technical interview. Introduced to other potential coworkers, introduction to machinery and instrumentation that one must operate given day-to-day needs. Multiple interviewers at the end, mix of soft/hard skill interview.

Interview
Know your circuit analysis, they will ask you technical questions. This place is highly technical and if you lie on the answers during the interview they will know it. My interview was a very large panel of supervisors and what seemed like technical experts.
