      Associate Software Engineer Interview

      23 Feb 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Manila, Manila
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DTN (Manila, Manila) in Feb 2025

      Interview

1.) Initial HR Interview - Usual Stuff. This is by far the most joyous, most energetic and fun HR interview I ever took part in but then again I may have been just lucky with this one. Absolute unforgettable experience, I wish all interviews were like it 2.) Manager Interview - A few "out-of-the-box" questions to throw you off to see how you carry yourself answering them. Me and the interviewer had to burn the time to finish in an hour so there was a lot of honest talk about the company and what to expect as an ASE, I absolutely love the transparency the interviewer showed throughout and one could easily tell they love working there. The interview itself was more about your skills, what kind of software engineer you are and how you can contribute to the company. Person even gave me tips that I'm more than sure I'll carry in my career, 3.) Technical Interview/Live Coding - Didn't get to this point as I was given an offer somewhere else and therefore had to withdraw, but I would have done my absolute best with it. Honestly, massive props to the people that interviewed me, amazing people and I'd be more than glad to have worked with them. They are my gold standard in how interviews should be carried. They even went as far as to hear my thoughts after interviews via email, they truly care about your experience. I couldn't recommend their process more, standing ovation.
