I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Daiichi Sankyo (Parsippany, NJ) in June 2008
Interview
The Interview process consisted of an initial contact with a recruiter. This was followed by two face to face interviews with the District Manager that would report to. I then was forwarded on to the Regional Sales Director for a final (rubber stamp) intervierw. This process was very similar to any other typical Pharma Sales process. The interview questions were all situational initially and the Regional Director was more focused on a long term vision of sales impact on the district/region/nation.

Question 1
What is your greatest weakness. I know that this is cliche but it is always a challenge.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Daiichi Sankyo (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2010
Interview
Very professional interview. Phone screen was conducted by a third party HR company, 1:1 interview and panel interview consisted of District Sales Manager and District Sales Manager and other local area District Sales Manager. Conservative company with a strong work ethic. Activity based evaluation schedule (number of calls per day, dinner/speaker programs per month, lunches per week, conducting local area business meetings with other districts and team members, etc.) vs. sales results/market share results.
