Most people get hired at Dallas ISD job fairs. Most schools are looking for bilingual teachers. ESL and general education teachers jobs are scarce. At the job fairs, many principals send other personnel and staff to "collect" resumes and forward them to the principal. It is very rare that you get hired on the spot. I suggest being bilingual, special education, advanced math, or reading specialist certified to land a job quickly. Otherwise it's the waiting game.
