Interview
I interviewed for the Legal Support Specialist role and found the process to be thoughtful and well-structured overall. It took about a month from the initial all to the final conversation. The first discussion focused on my background in employment law support, policy documentation, and handling sensitive employee matters. As I moved forward, the interviews became more in-depth and conversational, with scenario-based questions. I appreciated that the team was genuinely interested in how I balance legal precision with empathy and discretion. The process was thorough but respectful of my time, and communication was generally clear throughout. Overall, it felt like they were looking not just for technical knowledge, but for someone who could thoughtfully support both the legal and human side of the organization.

Interview
Once you submit your resume, they have you complete a "personality profile assessment" within 3 days. They then email you to schedule a "screening interview" that takes 10-15 mins via Zoom. After speaking with them, they will schedule you for another Zoom interview called a "Skillset Alignment Interview". That one took about 40 mins, but would have taken an hour or so if everyone that was supposed to be there attended. It showed to have been scheduled with 3 people, but it was instead a one on one. I was emailed a few days later requesting 3 professional references. After that, I was then emailed to schedule the "Core Values" and "Social Contract + Purpose" interviews in person. I attended both of those interviews which took about 2 hours total. All of these interviews went pretty well and I felt very good about joining the team, until about 2 weeks later, when I received an automated email stating they had gone with another candidate.

Question 1
One of the questions that stood out to me was when they asked "How do you balance work and home life? Do you 'play hard' as well as work hard?"

Interview
There was 3 rounds of interviews, however they did not feel like interviews at all. I am someone who gets very nervous for interviews, but after about 2-3 minutes in each one, I felt the nerves evaporate instantly. The interview with Carlos and Reagan started off with us just talking about what historical topics I was interested in. As a recently graduated history major this topic was the perfect way to start an interview, and made the interview feel like a conversation rather than me being grilled with questions nonstop. My third interview was an in person interview in Waco, and it was more of a "do you align with the core values at DS. Super easy and felt super comfortable the whole time.

Question 1
One question that stuck out to me was during my culture interview, where they asked if there was anyone in my life I would consider to be remarkable and then what was my definition of being remarkable.
