The interview process felt disorganized and inconsistent. Initially, I was told they weren’t actively considering candidates with my level of experience, but we proceeded with the interview anyway. Despite answering all questions correctly and receiving encouraging feedback from the interviewer, I received an automated rejection email a week later with no explanation.
There were several red flags during the interview itself. It wasn’t recorded, so I’m unsure if any of my responses were reviewed. The interviewer’s laptop died midway, and for the coding portion, I was asked to write code in Notepad while the interviewer read the questions out loud. This setup felt improvised and unprofessional for a technical role.
After the interview, I reached out to ask for feedback or any clarification on the decision, but I was completely ghosted. Overall, the process lacked transparency, professionalism, and basic candidate courtesy. For a company that emphasizes data-driven thinking, the interview experience felt anything but structured or thoughtful.
