Contacted by Datalab USA for a phone interview in mid December. Had to follow up for the in-person interview as they were busy for the holidays. Scheduled an in person interview for early January. The day comes and the first thing I do is take a SQL test. The test was OK but I wish there was more time. Then I was interviewed by 3 people. They asked very strange questions and gave completely BS answers to my own questions.
I asked them "What makes a successful candidate in this position?"
They told me "Oh we don't compare our people so it is impossible to tell you what a successful person in your job role would look like. All I can tell you is we value teamwork and hard work."
Of course you do! You also value people who don't speak up and mindlessly follow orders!
The company seems nice but don't be fooled. They are out to trick you.
