I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DataXstream (Williamsburg, VA) in Mar 2023
Interview
Great experience with lots of descriptions on the job. Amazing people and made the process feel seamless. Seemed like more of a conversation and what I was interested in which I enjoyed
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DataXstream in July 2024
Interview
I was contacted through LinkedIn by HR (Argentina),
Then, I had a 30-minute call with them. The interviewer mainly talked about the company, what it does, etc. It surprised me how much she spoke and how little she asked about my professional background, experience, etc.
In that same interview, HR told me I passed, and the second step was an in-person interview with the company's representative in Barcelona.
The meeting was set, but due to my working schedule, I asked HR to please reschedule. They did not answer for two weeks.
When I go to the answer they say they chose another candidate. I asked for feedback, and the answer was that I didn't have the availability to do the interviews.
I get the reasoning behind the decision, but if you are looking proactively for candidates on LinkedIn but can't accommodate the interviews considering they work full time, you should focus your search on `open to work´ candidates.
