I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Datadog (New York, NY) in Apr 2020
Interview
First round phone interview with internal solutions engineering recruiter. The interview was a straightfoward cultural-style interview with the discussion focusing on my background, interest in Datadog and the role, coding experience, previous projects, and client facing experience.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Datadog (Paris)
Interview
I had a very disappointing experience with Datadog's recruitment process. After making it to the final round for a Solutions role, I later learned that recruiters had contacted former colleagues at my current company to ask for feedback about me. This information made its way back internally, putting my current job at risk. Not only is this highly unprofessional, but it also raises serious confidentiality concerns. I would caution candidates to be aware of this before applying.

I applied online. I interviewed at Datadog (Amsterdam) in Oct 2024
Interview
It had 4 phases: HR, HM, Tech Assessment, Panel.
The tech assessment was made with an online platform, and it was really simple.
In the panel I had to talk about a topic where I was good technically and the interviewers acted like customers making questions etc (be really prepared on that). They payed me all the travel expenses since this last one was face-to-face
