I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Datadog in Oct 2023
Interview
A campus recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn. Applied through their website. - HackerRank assessment: 2 exercices : 1 DP + 1 OOP - Campus recruiter screening: Tell about yourself, what you are looking for and why Datadog - Technical coding interview (1h30): Discussion with an engineer about one of your project/experience. Then 2 leetcode-like questions (easy/medium). The first one was a simple list manipulation. And the other one involved recursion and string manipulation. - Team match call: You meet a hiring manager to talk about your past experience and what you are looking for. If the project fits well, you can receive an offer. Otherwise, you will meet another manager. Overall, the process is very positive. The recruiter was very nice and supportive. They genuinely want you to succeed and give tips for each step.
Very light. Quick recruiter screen and then a 75 or so minute technical with one of the engineers where you go over a project & two leetcode mediums. Was overall very chill, they are willing to help you as well.
Interviewers were very nice, standard leetcode mediums asked only. They also expected me to talk about a previous project of mine in depth as well as explain challenges that went along with it
Straightforward and easy, they were very communicative but interview process stretched over multiple weeks. Behavioral/screening with recruiter and then technical interview with 2 questions and they ask about a project on your resume
