Great team! Two rounds of interviews, then a week long take home, then another round. The take home was tedious but not overly difficult. Everyone I spoke to was nice and helpful. The recruiter was extremely responsive and gave feedback after the process.
Good folks to interview with. They provided an idea of what they'd ask about ahead of time so I knew what would come up. One interview was designated technical and another one behavioral.

Question 1
How do you manage your relationship with subject matter experts?
I applied online. I interviewed at Datadog in Mar 2021
Interview
I applied online and about a week later, my recruiter, Sam, reached out to set up a Zoom call.
After the phone screen, I participated in three 1-1 interviews with the hiring manager, a technical writer, and the skip manager.
I then had a chat with my recruiter who sent me the take home writing assignment. You can take as much time as you need for your submission. This writing assignment was more difficult than other take home assessments I've done, but you can always ask questions and document your thoughts/findings.
Once I completed the writing assignment, I received a call from my recruiter that the team liked my submission and I got the job offer!
My recruiter was very proactive and friendly throughout the interview process. He sent me cheerful emails the day before my interviews and kept me up-to-date about the status of my application.
My recruiting experience with Sam was incredibly positive, which led me to accept my job offer at Datadog!
