I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Davis & Gilbert LLP
Interview
It was a decent process. I did two parts, one requiring me to go in person. I was then completely ghosted with no follow-up, which was extremely unprofessional. The questions were pretty simple and I met with various people in the firm. It seemed like a decent place to work but after I was ghosted, it reflected how the company treats people.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Davis & Gilbert LLP (New York, NY) in Nov 2016
Interview
Interviewed with 3-4 attorneys in person and never heard back despite several follow ups. Same thing happened to another attorney I know that interviewed there. Ghosting applicants is bad form, particularly where people take time to come to the office and meet the team. For what it is worth, the attorneys were all very nice and easy to speak with. Would be prepared to discuss your practice and have strong answers for Why D&G and specific group.

Question 1
Why do you want to leave your current firm? Why D&G?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Davis & Gilbert LLP (New York, NY) in June 2015
Interview
I interviewed with two associates and a partner. Everyone seemed a bit more satisfied with their jobs than at most firms. The associates were young. There seems to be a marked generational and functional gap between young, technologically competent associates and older partners, but this is not uncommon in law firms.
