I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Daylight Foods (Hayward, CA) in Nov 2019
Interview
One phone call with the CFO and then onsite. The people onsite acted so ghetto, uneducated, and the HR chick didn't even smile, very unfriendly office. It didn't look like anyone had manners to do the greeting. The receptionist took her job too serious with an attitude like she was working for the CIA so nitpicky that I didn't fill in all the boxes on the application.

Question 1
What is the definition of a controller, not that you are applying for the controller role.
Have you ever worked in an environment where the accounting work is done from the stone ages, that you will have to work here every day 16 hours 7 days week, no processes, no structure, no guidance, no training, and you will have to deal with the temperamental owner?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Daylight Foods
Interview
The interview was 1 on 1 witn the sales manager. He asked up front what my salary at my previous job was and then proceeded to explain the commission structure at their company. First 2 years you get 40k base with 4% commission and after 2 years your base disappears to $5000 and then your commission increases to 5%. He said this structure was the only way to keep salespeople motivated. Also get car allowance $300/month or use of a company prius. Given that the company presidents drove a Jaguar convertible and a Range Rover, it seems they are in a position to pay a bit more competitively for the bay area.
After the interview, I withdrew myself from further consideration.
On indeed.com, the company "name" is Food Distribution.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly basic interview questions but the discussion was primarily focused on role and commission structure along with quite a few jabs regarding the lazy/unmotivated sales people they had in the past.
