I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DePelchin Children's Center (Houston, TX) in Dec 2024
Interview
Interview was two stages. One with supervisor. Then another with two supervisors. A lot of situational questions, be prepared for that. First one was a phone call that was more of a conversation about the position. They give you salary etc up front.

Question 1
How have you health with conflict?
How do you deal with boundaries with clients
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at DePelchin Children's Center (Houston, TX) in Jan 2019
Interview
First interview was a phone screen. It went OK. Didn't think they'd call me back. However the in person interview was like a panel of 4 people from the department. There was a man that was very hostile, which was a huge deterrent. I quickly knew I did not want to work there, it just looked so bad on them (I wouldn't recommend them). The others made it seem like his hostility was almost like a test, if I was able to handle it well I might be a potential candidate. Needless to say I made an excuse after an hour and a half into the interview that I needed to go back to my current job. I didn't follow back with them because I didn't care to. If they would have made me an offer I would have declined right away. I didn't hear back from them until 3 months later and I was already working a new job 2 months in. Terrible recruitment process and horrible pay for a non-profit.
