      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DeVry University in Feb 2025

      Interview

Highly streamlined and efficient, was very impressed by the speed and smoothness of interview process. For context, I was referred by a current Student Support Advisor. About one hour after I applied, I received an email prompting me to select a time for a preliminary interview (45 minutes) which I chose the earliest available slot six days later. During the preliminary interview, I spoke with a Talent Acquisition Specialist who asked me questions like why I was interested in DeVry, what I knew about the role, why I wanted to switch from my current role, etc. They also provided a lot of information about the role which was super helpful in understanding the position. The Talent Acquisition Specialist was also incredibly kind, easy to talk to, welcoming, and encouraging. Great first impression into the organization! They sent me an invite for the next and final interview at the end of our interview while we were still on Teams to ensure I got the invite. The second interview (1 hour) was scheduled for the next morning and included two managers. They were very nice and asked a number of behavioral questions like what do you do when you’re not meeting a metric, what do you do when you have a task you don’t want to do, etc. I was extended an offer later this same day.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How do you quickly create a relationship with a person you’ve just met? (Be sure to answer this and all answers in STAR format with a specific example e.g. “A time I did this was when XYZ”)

      Interview

The interview process consisted of three separate interviews, the first one being with the recruiter. You advance to another interview depending on how each one goes. I liked having the "milestone" interviews, it helped me plan and prepare for the next one and built my excitement! I like that I was able to be myself in the interviews, professionally of course. The interviewers were all very personable and easy to connect with.
