Initial phone interview with recruiter, hiring manager interview, then meet the team.
Team was very standoffish and uncommunicative. Waited weeks for a response after they said they would have feedback.
Overall process was very long and drawn out. The only way I finally discovered my rejection was after multiple emails and text messages to the recruiter.

Interview
I applied before COVID hit and had passed both the recruiter and manager interviews. While they were planning for next round, they paused all hiring due to COVID, which is totally understandable. They said they’d reach out when it resumed. A couple months ago, it did, but I didn’t find out because they reached out. I found out through a notification of an open job, the same job. I reached out to both the recruiter and hiring manager whom I had talked to before and got absolutely ghosted. Found out a month later they hired someone else. Absolutely terrible candidate experience.
A pretty standard phone screening with a hiring manager at Cars.com, followed by a relatively informal interview with two managers on site at DealerRater. Nothing too out of the ordinary.
