5 years on and I am still horrified by Dechras conduct at interview. Firstly they invited all candidates in at the same time and put us all in the waiting room together, the slot given was unknowingly the same for all candidates so we had to just sit waiting hoping we were next. They then offered the candidate they saw before me a job right infront of me in the waiting room before even seeing me. They then called me in begrudgingly like my 25 mile trip to Skipton was inconvenient me. They left the person they hired infront of mes CV on the desk infront of me and I could see his experience and qualifications were a fraction of mine. They then got me in an office with 2 members of senior leadership (no HR) and began to grill me as to what my plans were for the next few years and whether I planned to have children. I phoned the recruiter straight after and was told that the candidate they hired was more experienced than me (I saw his CV he absolutely wasn’t). I told the recruiter they should evaluate their relationship with Dechra and that I never want to hear about a role there ever again.
