      Senior Data Engineer Interview

      21 Mar 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Berlin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deed (Berlin) in Mar 2024

      Interview

I passed 5 steps of an interview with them 1. HR 2. Hiring Manager(Intro and technical) 3. Code assignment 4. Architecture design(Hiring manager) 5. Non-technical interview with the head of Data Strategy. I passed the first 4 successfully and they were very impressed by my skillset. but in the last step, they decided to move further with another candidate, because I didn't have relevant experience. the question is, why didn't they read my CV in the initial steps? also, they told me that they wanted someone who could start immediately and I was completely OK with that. Seems, they don't care about the candidate's time and effort.
