I applied online. I interviewed at Deel in June 2026
Interview
Interviewed for a technical role.
The recruitment process started positively, with quick communication and an initial screening call. During the conversation, the recruiter outlined a fairly extensive interview process and discussed the role in detail.
Unfortunately, the process ended shortly afterwards with a generic rejection email and no meaningful feedback. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of transparency regarding the decision. While I fully understand that not every candidate can move forward, receiving no explanation after spending time in the screening process leaves a poor impression.
The role itself seemed interesting, but the recruitment experience left me with a negative impression of the hiring process.
Unfortunately it was a waste of time.
They only give 72hrs to complete a challenge, how is it possible while working for another company?
After the challenge you plan the tech interview and after a couple of days they cancel it because "they found someone new".
What even is the sense of this process?
It's not planned to be equal, favoring unemployed or people with poor Work Life balance, which the latter I think is the situation in the company.
