Interview
HR / Recruiter Call – An initial conversation covering my background, relevant experience, interest in the role, compensation expectations, and general fit for the company.
Take-Home Assignment – A coding/project-based assignment designed to evaluate practical engineering skills, code quality, problem-solving approach, and overall system thinking. The scope was reasonable and reflected real-world development work.
Technical Interviews – The technical rounds focused primarily on discussing the take-home assignment in depth, including design decisions, trade-offs, scalability considerations, and implementation details. There was also a system design discussion covering architecture, API design, data modeling, scalability, reliability, and operational considerations.
1 technical interview, then another interview with the team lead, one cultural fit interview with senior management. There was no leetcode at all but conversations and direct questions. Overall interviewee friendly

Interview
The interviewer showed up 5 minutes late and had the most arrogant attitude I have ever experienced in a hiring process. Big red flag. Constantly interrupting me over small details. Demeaning attitude, not a single smile. It's like they wanted me to fail and feel under pressure. It's okay to discuss different views on architecture. But nitpicking the syntax and tiny details was simply not helpful to anyone. If that's the culture, I dodged a bullet.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The technical constraints and how it fit the overall platform architecture. That was actually a fair question.
