1. Sent my resume directly to HR as they do not have a online application. 2. Recieved phone call from recruiter a couple of weeks later, she apologized for getting back to me so late. She asked me a few questions about my resume and why I chose democracy. She then scheduled me for a F2F @ the branch. 3. Interviewed at the branch with the manager and another lady. Interview was standard questions. They asked about sale goals I had to meet at prior job and situation type questions. They made me feel comfortable at the interview wasn't nervous at all. Was able to laugh and joke about some things which made it more relaxing. Told me they did have a few more interviews but I should hear from someone in about a week. 4. Got a call from the recruiter a week later saying after they ran my credit a few things came up that I needed to explain. I had to send in a letter of explanation acknowledging the negative info and what was my plan to fix it. Was hesitant at first because I didnt know if it would be a waste of time or not but I sent it in anyways. 5. Got a call the next day with job offer but said I would need to pay off what was being reported on my credit within 90 days of employment. I know all banks do credit checks and very few will hire if credit is less then perfect. The bank I was at prior to was one of the few so I was happy Democracy gave me a chance also.
