First there was a phone interview in which you are asked why you are interested in education and why you want to work for DFER. This was followed by a writing assignment involving researching a candidate running for office.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Democrats for Education Reform in Oct 2014

Resume review. Interview with CEO, interview with COO, interview with local community partners. (This process was unique given my previous work with the organization - typically the organization requires a performance task, debrief, and phone interviews with other staff members.)
