Denmark School District interview questions

An open call was sent to the entire special ed department to attend this interview, and 14 people showed up with the promise of subs taking their places in the classroom. This was overwhelming and unnecessary. I fielded many questions as each person asked one at a minimum, and afterwards was given a verbal offer along with pay and info on benefits. I accepted the offer. A few days later, I was informed they changed their mind and hired someone with more experience who came along after I interviewed. I hadn't signed paperwork yet but I found this to be quite unprofessional to make an offer, have it accepted, and then rescind it.
