Interview
I met with my boss and a member of their executive staff. It was a pretty standard interview and resume review process. The culture was pretty welcoming so the questions flowed smoothly and nothing out of the ordinary.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Design Systems, Inc. (Farmington Hills, MI)
Interview
The interviewer of the position was very rude and unprofessional, when asked with the question that how would he help with his group or employees with their career paths. He became angry about this question as clearly he didn’t think about it before and answered he didn’t expect to prompt any people within just a few years. I would agree if he addresses it like he expects more experience and skills to be qualified to get promotion, but it’s just sad for a leader to say people couldn’t get promoted within a short of time and they were not even allowed to expect it. I feel bad about people work for him and definitely you don’t want to go to a company doesn’t really care about their employees development.
I didn’t follow up with the company as I am so disappointed with its culture after the interview and best wishes for the people who gets the position.
