I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dev9 (Kirkland, WA) in June 2018
Interview
Recruiter was good, actual interview was horrific.
Asked to do 4 hours of homework, interviewer knew nothing about it and wasn't that interested in the result.
Interviewer was hostile, took a confrontational tone, asked about current working environment and then criticised throughout, without knowing the constraints, broken working practices of other teams or the workflow of other groups.
Not someone I would want to work with and not a company I would want to work for.

Question 1
Why didn't you use terraform to build the homework environment?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dev9 (Kirkland, WA) in July 2015
Interview
My interview process was a bit strange. I initially was contacted by their technical recruiter and met w/ him and discussed where I wanted to go in my career and if the company would be a good fit. We kept in touch over the next year and finally I decided it was time to make a move. At which point I met w/ the recruiter again, had a technical phone screen and then a pair programming session with one of the more senior people at the company. After that I had to phone screen/on site w/ the leads at the different clients to find a place for me.
