Pretty straight forward on the experience questions. It’s been well over 6 years since I’ve interviewed anywhere and was caught off guard by the behavioral questions like “describe a time your core values were challenged and how you overcame them”, “describe a time you made a compromise to help the team reach its goal”.

Question 1
Pretty straight forward on the experience questions. They give you a scenario of bad oil and to describe what you’d do. Scenario of being short X amount off bbls when you make X amount daily and describe what you’d do to figure out why. I was caught off guard by the behavioral questions like “describe a time your core values were challenged and how you overcame them”, “describe a time you made a compromise to help the team reach its goal”.

Apply, wait for call, come in for two-part interview. Laid back environment. Very friendly staff, great questions asked. Interview geared towards determining if someone is a Self starter. Hope to continue working.
