I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse (New Orleans, LA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Many get hired but few stay. I was hired with many others and we were weeded out by how much we knew and how well we did on test. I had three test before I could become a back waiter. Then you must know all wines by the glass and app before becoming a beverage waiter.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse (New Orleans, LA)
Interview
I contacted the HR representative and was shortly thereafter contacted about an upcoming job fair. I attended the job fair, where I sat in a room filled with 40+ people who were awaiting a food/beverage knowledge test. The test was long and detailed - impressive for those with experience and want to work with professional team members. An initial interview followed the test, where the test was reviewed and basic questions were asked. At the end of my interview, the gentleman told me confidently to expect a second interview.
In the second interview, I was asked the same basic questions - plus a few more (about future goals, plans, etc.). They offered me the position at the end of the interview.
