I applied through their job posting on the website. I was later contacted by HR, setting up a phone interview with the CEO. I spoke with DBE's CEO Veronica "Niki" Fielding on the position, the company culture and my previous experiences.
After a couple of days I was contacted to come into their offices and meet with some team members and take a comprehensive exam.
I first took the exam, which took we approximately an hour and a half, which was comprised of 6 different categories from creating social media posts to a presentation. All sections were based around the job description and were clear in direction (not meant to trick you).
I then submitted the exam for review and continued with the individual interviews. I met with each team member (about 5) for half an hour each. Team members asked relevant questions about my past experiences, goals and how I can make an impact at DBE.
I then made a presentation on a topic given in the exam, and presented it in front of the group. The team did well in being engaged, and asking questions.
Overall, the interview process was extensive, but allowed the team to understand my skills and fit within DBE, along with helping me understand DBE and the team culture.
