I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dillard's (Scottsdale, AZ) in Feb 2011
Interview
Took almost a month just for interview and to complete training very professional and friendly the process was overall very easy. The managers were friendly they made you feel welcomed that's one thing i appreciated from the beginning. Overall the process seemed very helpful, they prepare you for what you may experience on the job, like working with the computer and cash registers and measuring feet to make sure you meet the expectations of each customer.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Dillard's (Dallas, TX) in May 2018
Interview
Fairly simple and straight forward. They ask you about your previous work experience, also they are misleading about their positions and the possibility of great success. They feed you very outlandish success stories from other locations.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Dillard's (Tulsa, OK) in Jan 2017
Interview
You ask for a opening but they put you where ever they want and from there they set you up to fail! You speak with a manager and if you pass you speak to the store manager.
