Have you ever visited our website? Can you talk about DCT, its main tours, a bit about our philosophy?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Discover Canada Tours (Vancouver, BC) in June 2014
Interview
This is a local based tourism company. I got relative information and job posting from my friend who studied hospitality. Based on the job description, the main skills the company wanted are learning skills, team work and communication. These skills are very important because after I entered to that company, I found sometimes I also needed to work with sales teams and tour guides. I submitted my cover letter and resume through email to the operation manager (they do not have HR department since this is a small company). They replied around three days later, and offered an interview opportunity to me. The interview was not hard because the general atmosphere is very causal.
