Distilled Senior Data Engineer interview questions

The next day I meant with Head of data analytics and a principal data engineer. I described my recent experiences, I wrote down what they said l, like how they use RPA and other Technologies in their team. I had an experience with both RPA and ad a data engineer with both AWS and Azure. I was cross questioned about the stuff I did, explained the things I did and the things that I couldn't. It was good interview. Then there were some behavioral questions as well. Principal data engineer asked me 3 sql questions which were very basic. I gave multiple solutions for a question and he was impressed. I was asked 3 python questions same basic ones I answered all of them. I was very positive with how it went. I was told i would be reached with a case study. I got the feedback on Thursday saying that I was not selected though. They liked my enthusiasm and experience but they thought that my knowledge as a senior is not enough. So basically I should have seen more indepth of my project which I couldn't due to issues and Administration access. I felt they found someone else who was better maybe. But I really appreciated the feedback but was very disappointed by the result as the feedback seemed a little too forced at the same time. In the interview they seemed that they really liked me and well I answered everything. The hr was really good honestly, he was kind helpful and very supportive. In the end if interview I asked 2 questions which looked like made the Head really like me.
