I interviewed at Docurated (New York, NY) in Feb 2016
Interview
I was contacted on LinkedIn by the CEO and Founder of Docuarted, and although I had never heard of the company previously, I decided to do a little research and really liked the problem they were solving for. I decided to set up a time to chat with Alex, and our conversation confirmed my initial feelings that this was a viable opportunity. I could not believe that a startup at their stage was already profitable, and liked how ambitious they were in the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning space. There also was not a lot of wasted time, as he was very direct and to the point, which I liked. I ended up coming in for an onsite interview, where I met with Alex, as well as the VPE and several other Engineers. I was shocked by how transparent everyone was, and felt they did a great job of evaluating my previous experience to see if I was the right fit for their needs. A couple days after my onsite interview, Alex reached back out to me and asked if I would like to grab drinks with everyone, which was exciting since Docurated was quickly moving up to the top of my list amongst the companies I was interviewing with. It was during drinks that I was extended an offer to join the Docurated family, and after taking the weekend to think it over I decided it was the best place for me to continue to grow my career.

Question 1
What do you think is the most important thing to screen for when evaluating cultural fit?
I applied online. I interviewed at Docurated (New York, NY)
Interview
The first of three interviews was conducted over the phone with the Sales Director. It was more of a casual conversation where he asked about my experience and goals. We then met for coffee near the office and talked about the role more in-depth. The last interview was at the office where I met with the Director of Talent Acquisitions, a couple AEs and finally the co-founder of the company.

Question 1
If you could have dinner with 3 people, living or dead, who would they be?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Docurated in July 2016
Interview
Very smooth interview process. I first spoke with an engineer about a week before the interview, and he told me about the work culture and the functions/workstyles of the different teams in the office. This was followed by a technical interview in which I was asked about my programming background and projects that I had done, ending with a few programming questions.
