I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Docusign
Interview
1st step: 30 min recruiter phone screen where I'm asked what I'm looking for in my next career move, why DocuSign, and why leave my current company
2nd step: Meet hiring manager via 45 min video chat to better understand the role and get to know his management style as well as speak to my experience.
3rd step: 45 min technical SQL exam with BI manager in another department. They weren't following a very structured format for a technical interview. This was entirely left to the discretion of the interviewer. We covered some basic aggregation queries, asked about certain SQL functions, and asked about my approach to data visualization.
4th Step: 4 45min interviews with various business parters this role would work with. I was asked extensively about my background, how I would work with difficult stakeholders, my approach to managing projects and leveraging data. This was a very long day but everyone was a pleasure to speak with.
