I was recently contracted to interview the Sr. HRIS Analyst position. It was a phone screen as the first step. The recruiter was late. The recruiter asked the typical interview questions. One included my salary expectations. The job description was not included. I asked the recruiter what the range is and she refused to share. At the end of the phone screen she again asked for my salary requirements. I said I am flexible. She said that was not sufficient so I shared what my salary range has been. Then she says that is over the range. This interview technique is a was of the candidates time.
