I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash (San Francisco, CA) in June 2020
Interview
I first had a 20-minute phone screening with the hiring manager (HM). And then I got a take home case analysis which I had 24 hours to work on it. It was to make business recommendations based on the order records they gave me. I was then passed to the next round which I had two 45-minute interviews with the HM and her counterpart. The interview with the HM was a behavioral interview with a short presentation (from the take home analysis). The interview with the HM’s counterpart was a case interview. The four case questions were related with each other around strategies and operations partnering with restaurants. I wasn’t moved on to the next round interview afterwards.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
(Regarding to the first bullet point on my resume) Tell me more about how did you improve the inventory management? (Follow up question) How did you influence the sales reps to sell more inventory? The four case questions were related with each other around strategies and operations partnering with restaurants.

Difficult interview
Application
I interviewed at DoorDash
Interview
They move pretty fast--30 minute recruiter screen (phone call), then a timed take home project (aimed to weed people out--data analysis), hiring manager video call. Really laid back, but definitely looking for people who are a 100% perfect fit for the role
