I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Applied online, received an email a day later from Mary-Margaret Wilson requesting me to fill out some time slots for my interview availability.
Ok awesome!
Filled out the slots, sent a follow up email asking if they would need more time slots from me.
Never heard from the “recruiter.”
Sent a follow up email several days later inquiring about the interview and the position.
Never heard from the “recruiter” but did get an automatic OOO email (hope you enjoyed your vacation!).
Received an automated do-not-reply rejection email from doordash for the position I was reached out to to interview for?
This was a HORRIBLE experience and the recruiter was completely MIA and unresponsive after reaching out TO ME requesting me to interview.
I even sent another email to her after the do not reply response and have heard nothing.
Doordash, i beg of you, look at how your recruiters are handling talent, thankfully I am gainfully employed but when you’re playing with peoples hope they will never want to work for you in the future.

Other Partnerships Manager interview reviews for DoorDash
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash (Sydney) in July 2025
Interview
The interview process was extremely disappointing. I went through multiple rounds with different managers, invested significant time preparing case studies and presentations, only for the role to be quietly reposted afterwards. It felt less like a genuine hiring process and more like they were gathering free market insights from candidates. Communication was inconsistent, expectations were unclear, and the process lacked transparency and respect for candidates’ time. Very frustrating experience overall
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to prepare a detailed case study presentation on how I would grow a merchant’s business using DoorDash, including ROI recommendations and a role-play session.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash in Apr 2023
Interview
The process consisted of interviews with the hiring manager and another team manager, a case study presentation that they provided 48 hrs to complete, and then presenting that to a panel.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you did something outside of your responsibilities?
I applied online. I interviewed at DoorDash (New York, NY) in Mar 2021
Interview
It was one of the most disorganized and disrespectful interview processes I've been through. Started with the hiring manager reaching out to schedule a 15-minute interview. They called 5 minutes late and then asked very detailed questions and left almost no time for questions of my own. About 2 weeks later I received what looked to be an automated rejection email and thought that was the end of things. But no, a week later I received an email from a recruiter saying the hiring manager loved our conversation and was ready to move to next steps... uhmm okay?
I agreed to next steps which were having 48 hours to analyze excel documents to improve the DD business. This project probably took 2-3 hours. I sent off and got a response that they received and would be in touch. After not hearing anything for two weeks I followed up and received word that they tried to send me an email saying I wasn't selected to move forward, but the recruiter must have forgotten to send it...
Stunned at the disrespect, I politely thanked them for their time and asked for feedback. Unsurprisingly, I heard nothing back.
