The recruiter straight up gaslit me into thinking I'm a front runner for the role, only to be bluntly ghosted after the last round interview with NO feedback from any of the interviewers. Months later the job was still open. Their competitor runs a much superior interview process and I had a great candidate experience even though I didn't get the job there either.
