I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Dopravo (New York, NY) in Mar 2017
Interview
Dopravo was looking for a UX/UI Designer for almost a 3 months. So, I decided to submit my application.
They interviewed me 3 times. The 1st one was a HR interview, the 2nd one was a technical interview and I did well in both.
Then the gave me an assignment and I did it in a very professional way. The assignment was not a regular one to show how I am thinking or something like that! It was for designing a full app!!!
I came over myself and I did it. Afterwards, the called me for a 3rd interview to present my work and show them why I think on that way.
I bit I did a very good job and they were impressed with my skills and my thinking about things. I introduced a new way to let the users deal with the app with almost a zero effort.
Then, by a chance I knew my colleague also have the same experience like me with them! I saw her work it was impressive too!
I told my story to my friend, and he was in a shock. He told me that he had an interview with them (he is a front-end engineer) and told me this is an already a running project for them!
To sum up, they were want to collect the ideas from the designers only to implement them in their project.
Until now they did not find anyone!! Huh, it is impossible :)
Shame on you Dopravo
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview questions were very easy. As I said before, they are interviewing people to collect ideas only. Sorry, but it seems like that!
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dopravo in Jan 2016
Interview
i got a test for .net development which was supposed to be for beginners somehow , but it takes someone with professionals skills to solve it , so if someone tries to solve for most of it should be accepted , on the fly but the people who make the interview and get to answer the questions who are supposedly professionals don't know about the code when they dig in , they make up for what they lack by their attitude , unfortunately they have tests they don't have answers for .
and what bothered me was that they ask questions , which are personal , like if you are smart and that good as you pretend can't you get the answers on your own and step up the game a little .
they are time consuming for nothing , there are way better companies , i think what they are trying to do is to give the illusion that they are way too good for anyone to join them .
if this was my homeland i wud've get this company out of the market by connections and money , i guess they are lucky , this was not my homeland

Interview
If Dopravo sees this review they'll know it's me. Anyways, I applied for the position even though I am not qualified for it. Luckily, Dopravo is very open minded and looking out for fresh talent so I think they were initially intrigued by what I can offer as an employee. The first interview was just a brief and casual `getting to know you` phase. The second interview was after completing a task and presenting it to the group. I think I misinterpreted the challenge. It was a little weird because I know user experience to be about enhancing the user`s experience with a product, but I didn`t really have a product to work with. So I sort of made one and put little effort into the actual user experience part. I followed the instructions and worked with what I got. Most importantly, I spent a month with the interview process and was told I would get a response (yes or no) by the end of the forthcoming week. Obviously the don`t want to continue with me, but they should still give me a rejection by email or something. I may be lacking experience, but my time is valuable to me.
