There was only one Technical round and they have selected me, but the HR of this company is horrible. They are very horrible and rude.
When the interview has completed, the HR has called me and asked for the current salary and I said 6 LPA. When I asked for more than 100 % hike, he said that are you sure you are expecting that much amount. When I told how much salary should I expect then he is said that my salary should not be more than 9 LPA, it should be between 7 to 8 LPA.
Who is that person to decide my salary expectation.
He said "I can bet that a person can achieve more than 100% hike when there is a temporary requirement. Any good and reputed company(he said like Wipro, IBM, Infosys) will not provide me more than 10 LPA salary, I can bet ".
For this behavior, I declined to join the company even they provide me 100 % hike, because I was surprised how the company of HR can you say thing like that. He said again " you should be on the ground and I am on the air, I am over-confident to ask that much amount of salary and a person with 7 to 8 yrs of experience can have it." He screamed at me and cut the phone
I just wanted to say please ask the expected salary before conducting the interview process and the HR cannot decide what the salary a candidate must decide, it depend upon the company whether they can provide it or not. Don't underestimate anyone. I think he don't know the market very well. I was already having the offer of 95% hike and I asked for more than 100%, he can simply refuse it. There is nothing to be rude about it. The salary is being decided w.r.t. to the knowledge and the roles and responsibility, not only on the basis of the experience.
Don't join this company because the HR represents the behavior and how the company will treat their employee.
