Major red flag is when you go talk to 6+ people in the process and they can’t answer basic questions about company initiatives. They kept saying they love the diversity and inclusion in the company yet the 6+ people I talked to were not that.
- You get an initial interview with the compensation and if you accept, you have a certain amount of time to complete an email response assignment. (This was the only good thing about this process.)
- If you pass, you go through a recruiter screen.
- You interview with two managers who ask behavioral questions etc.
- Then, you have a technical interview.
- Last interview round is with a high level person (e.g. director) and an HR person.
After going through a month+ long process, I didn’t appreciate the generic email response. Also, if you’re offering crumbs to people, don’t make them spend a month going through so many rounds.
