I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Dry Farm Wines (Napa, CA) in June 2023
Interview
Worst interview experience of my life. The whole process was about 2.5 months of jumping through awkward hoops. I put in several hours of free labor working on projects for them, spending a day in their corporate office, attended meetings, presented creative idea proposals and more, all for no pay as part of the interview process. They even had me go for one of the interviews to a random house they had rented where they had me meet with a large group of their team and they asked me some pretty intimate and personal questions like 'what is my deepest and darkest fear?' that they made me answer in a room full of strangers. Very bizarre and unprofessional and uncomfortable. After 2.5 months of what felt like endless interviews and awkward scenarios that they physically put me in where I was asked to work (again, for free) I got a call that I didn't get the job.
I did 3 or 4 interviews AND a project that took me hours to complete while I was visiting family. I think it was absolutely ridiculous to require someone to do a research project for free for an entry level position.

It’s not polite to expect people to spend so much time(I personally spent 3 hours) on your interview prescreening questions and not even getting a rejection email. 15 pre screening questions that require information and in-depth thought including writing then emails.
