I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Duck Creek Technologies in July 2025
Interview
I applied couple of months ago but was ghosted after the 1st technical round. I reached out 2 times to the rectuiter but never heard back. Do not waste your time interviewing there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic questions related to the tech stack used at the company.
The interview process generally begins with an initial online assessment to evaluate a candidate’s technical and problem-solving skills. Successful candidates are then invited to one or more technical interviews, where they discuss coding challenges, data structures, algorithms, and project experience. This is often followed by a system design or practical task to assess real-world implementation abilities. Finally, a HR or managerial round focuses on communication skills, teamwork, and cultural fit before extending an offer. Throughout the process, interviewers look for strong technical foundations, logical thinking, and clarity in explanation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the main things they asked me was about my practical understanding of full-stack development — specifically how I integrate the frontend (React/Next.js) with the backend (Node.js/Express) and connect it to a database like MySQL or MongoDB. They also asked a few questions about API design, error handling, and deploying projects on cloud platforms such as AWS.
